There will be two levels of learning for the younger children (6-10); "hand on" work in the garden and classroom learning. Children will be matched with an older child for support - big brother/sister. The big brother/sister and their younger brother or sister will be assigned specific duties together. They will practice writing and reading while learning about the structure of a plant and "good bugs/bad bugs" for the garden.
Children will learn germination skills and plants will be entered into the garden.
